The Del Prado Cabana Club rules are in place to insure a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all. Please read and abide by the rules. Failure to do so may result in fines or suspension of membership.
The Pool Manager (PM) and Lifeguards are in complete charge of the facility and shall have full authority from the Board of Directors to enforce these rules and regulations. Club staff members shall take all steps necessary to protect the health and safety of all persons. Any individual refusing to leave the Cabana Club area upon the request of the PM or a Lifeguard may face suspension of DPCC privileges by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may find it necessary to suspend DPCC privileges for serious infractions of the rules and regulations.
Any questions, complaints, concerns or constructive criticism regarding the DPCC policies, procedures, or its rules and regulations, shall be directed exclusively to the Board, not at DPCC staff or volunteers participating in a DPCC sanctioned event. Any member or guest that distracts, harasses or otherwise creates a safety situation with pool staff pursuant to the aforementioned shall be reported to the Board.
No water fights or horseplay are allowed in the Cabana Club. “Soft toss” nerf style or similar toys can be used in the pool. Hard items such as frisbees, footballs, etc are not allowed.
Only approved swim attire (i.e. swimsuits) will be allowed in the Club pools. Briefs, shorts or diapers are not allowed. Swim diapers are permitted.
Food and drink is restricted to the tables and lawn areas, not in or along the side of the pool. NO GLASS allowed in the facility. This includes bottles, ceramic cookware or any other breakables.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed in the Cabana Club. Drink responsibly. Intoxicated individuals will be asked to leave. No glass wine/alcohol bottles or drinkware of any kind.
All trash must be placed in appropriate containers.
No bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. allowed in the facility at any time.
Maximum of 10 guests per member household per day. Household members on the emergency information sheet who reside in the home full time do not count as guests.
Homeowners are responsible for any and all actions of family members and guests whether or not the homeowner is present.
Children under the age of 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Shoulder length hair must be tied back prior to entering the pool.
Swim fins, facemasks w/ shatter-proof glass, and other pool type equipment including rafts and other inflatables will be permitted only at the discretion of the pool staff. And may be revoked at the discretion of the pool staff depending on use and conditions of the pool.
The large pool will be cleared of all children 17 and under for a 15 minute rest period every hour. This time is referred to as ADULT SWIM. During this time, children 6 and under may be in the pool only when accompanied by a parent (in the water). Please leave the four southern lanes open for those swimming laps.
The wading pool is provided for children 6 years and younger. An adult must be in the immediate (within 15 ft) area and responsible for supervising at all times. There are no lifeguards on duty for the wading pool.
All members must register upon entry into the Cabana Club. Guests of members shall be registered as well and are subject to a $3.00 per person/per day fee. Guest fees are subject to increase on holiday weekends.
All members of household listed on emergency information form must reside in the home. Grandchildren are excepted, but they must be listed on form.
The unclaimed lost and found items will be donated to a charitable organization or thrown away at the end of the season.
No person shall take any article belonging to the Club from the pool premises.
Locked bicycles shall be placed in the bike racks located outside near the entry of the Club. Skateboards, scooters, wheeled tennis shoes, etc. are not allowed in the Club. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Cabana Club will be closed at 10 p.m. during the season. Exceptions may be due to pool events, previously scheduled Board meetings, or cold/rainy weather.
On cool evenings, when no persons are using the pool facilities, the closing time may be moved up to 8:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. with the permission of one member of the Board of Directors.
Running, jogging, wrestling, pushing, shoving, kicking, snapping towels or similar unsafe activities are prohibited within the Cabana Club.
Rocks, coins, hairpins, or other foreign objects must not be thrown in the pool, unless in a sanctioned event.
No gum is allowed in the Cabana Club.
Backwards entry from the side of the pool is prohibited. Dive only in specified areas.
All posted diving board rules must be adhered to.
Profanity, improper behavior, bullying, demeaning, and vulgar or offensive remarks will not be tolerated.
Contact any of the lifeguards about any injuries within the pool area no matter how small.
No deck chairs, tables, or loungers allowed on the grass areas.
REGULATIONS

Do not call for help unless necessary.
DPCC is a smoke free, vape free environment
No pets shall be permitted in DPCC. ADA Approved Service dogs are allowed, with prior approval. These service dogs will be wearing the appropriate identification while in the facility and remain attended to at all times. Emotional Support animals are not Service Animals.
Males, over the age of 5, are not allowed in the Ladies/Girls restroom facility at any time. The same applies for females in the Men’s/Boys restroom.
Parents must take young children to the restroom before allowing them to enter the pool.
Spitting in the pool or pool area is prohibited.
No TRESPASSING, no unauthorized entry into the Club facility. Police will be called and trespassers will be prosecuted.
Any rule or regulation not covered will be left to the discretion of the lifeguard on duty. Lifeguards shall have the authority to regulate any action or behavior they may consider unsafe or unhealthy.
